Question: How long after CI sugery is the first return visit to the doctor? Is it to inspect the incision, replace the bandage, remove staples?

Answer: This is usually determined by the surgeon. As long as there are no problems, your return visit is normally a week to 10 days after surgery. It is done so that the surgeon can check the site and ok you for activation.
